As Pastor Jamie continues on with the series, "He Said Whaaaat?!", he opens with a verse outside of the beatitudes. This week’s opening verse comes a bit deeper in Matthew. Pastor Jamie opens with "The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant" from Matthew 18:21-35 NASB95. As he digs into this scripture, he points out that there are two things that are the heart of this parable:
- Compassion
- Mercy
He then ties this all into the beatitudes with Matthew 5:7, NKJV.
"Blessed are the merciful,
For the shall obtain mercy."
