Repairer of the Breach Young Adult Ministry

will meet for the first time Friday, May 15th at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall of CrossHeirs Bridgeport. Come hungry as Pastor Jeff is cooking. Please let him know that you are coming and how many you are bringing with you so he will have an idea of how much he will need to get to cook. Also, if there are menu restrictions, please inform him so they can be discussed and accommodated.

Coming Soon: Young Adults Community Ministry 

This ministry will be for post-high school students to about 28 years old.

We will plan to meet twice a month to start. The primary focus will be community, getting to know one another, and discipleship building with scripture study. This is not going to be a 100% Bible study, 100% of the time. We will have fun, play some games, eat, talk, and just forget about the world for awhile.

We are building a community of young adults where the leaders and congregants have the same goals. We invite those who desire to loosen the bonds of wickedness, undo heavy burdens, and those who desire to be set free from oppressions.

Together we shall break every yoke. Together we will share meals, with each other AND those who may not have their next meal. Physically and spiritually, in what ever is available, we shall cover those who may be hurting or without.

Most importantly, a community where you shall be yourself. You won't have to hide from who you are. We all are different, have different characteristics, and serve different purposes. Together, we shall come together in Jesus and work with each other. Pull out the best in each other. 

The real Jesus died on a real cross for the real you and if you really give Him your life He can really change it forever!

We exist to raise up a generation of young adults who live out the call of Isaiah 58—breaking chains, lifting burdens, and bringing freedom to those around them. From post–high school through age 28, we are committed to walking boldly in our faith while navigating real life, purpose, and our identity in Christ.

We strive to love in action by serving the hungry, welcoming the outcast, and meeting both spiritual and physical needs in our communities. As we grow in authenticity and relationship with God, we choose to shine His light in dark places and reflect His righteousness in how we live, speak, and lead.

Through prayer, obedience, and community, we are building strong foundations for the future—restoring what has been broken and creating spaces where healing, purpose, and belonging are found. Together, we are becoming the Repairers of the Breach, bringing hope and transformation to our generation.
